Lai gan recepte, kā pagatavot banānu maizīti, ir gandrīz identiska, bet tik pat vienkārša kā šeit jau aprakstītā, brīvdienās tapa trīskārtīgi uzlabotā versija – talkā nāca kafijā uzbriedinātas rozīnes, dzeramā soda, bet mīnusots tika grieķu jogurts, kanēlis un cukura daudzums. Īpaši garšīga ar pievienotu plānu, plānu lauku sviestiņa kārtiņu un rīta kafiju.

This is my 2.0 version for banana bread I made and talked about in July. This time I made it with lots of coffee soaked raisins and added baking soda. This one has no greek yogurt, cinnamon and extra sugar.

banana bread

There is no such thing as missing bananas in my fridge. They are always there.  I use them fresh as a snack before training, in my daily smoothie, as an extra for my morning oatmeal our oatmeal cookies and so on. Last night for the very first time I tried to bake a bread. And yes, You guessed – it was banana bread. The recipe is very simple. You can add nuts, dried fruit our berries, but as usual – I baked it as basic as possible.

I wanted to try it for the longest time but struggled to find the right mold for it. I went to Gemoss, went to RITO and other places, but finally found it at Rimi supermarket and paid just 3.98EUR. Such a bargain for 1.5 liter loaf pan (next day I went to Stockmann where the same pan was on sale for just 1.40eur!)
